#DigbethChallenge

The Digbeth Challenge is based on the map mural painted on the side of our building by graffiti artist Title, and lays down the gauntlet for people to try to get around all 45 venues listed on the map by the end of 2024.

There's fine-dining, house and techno clubs, cocktails bars, classic pubs, sports bars, a cinema and all sorts of activity bars.

This is no easy challenge, which is why we're offering £300, £200 and £100 food and drink prize to the first, second and third person to do it.

There's also lots of spot prize draws along the way for those taking part.

All you have to do is tag us and the venue you're visiting on an Instagram post with the hashtag #DigbethChallenge. You and the venue must be clearly identifiable in each picture and you must be with a drink (if a bar) or a meal (if a restaurant) so we know you haven't just popped your head in and ran back out!

Pick up a copy of the map and venue list from The Ruin and other venues if you'd like to keep a track of your progress.

Rules:

• All visits to be made in 2024.
• You’ll need to provide a photo of you inside each venue, with a drink you’ve bought (or meal if a restaurant) via Instagram, tagging the venue and  The Ruin with the hashtag #DigbethChallenge.
• Original photos maybe requested to claim one of the top three prizes.
• Each venue must be clearly identifiable in the picture background.
• Anyone winning one of the top three prizes must use their prize in one night.
• Any new venues will not need to be visited for the prize and any that close will be a free pass.
